- The first teaser trailer was released to the public, and a red bullet on the official website links to NCC-1701.com
- NCC-1701.com contains four cameras depicting various angles within the welding scene from the teaser trailer. Flashing rarely in a single frame in the static of the non-tuned camera is an image from what's believed to be a corridor of the Enterprise NCC-1701
